Best places to visit in the UK in March

Beautiful spring walks

Of course, we’re backing Lancashire for places to visit in the spring. You’re not far from a range of gorgeous walks such as Beacon Fell and Brockholes, both are very easily accessible if you’re bringing the car. If you’d prefer to visit some smaller towns and villages during your stay, you can check out places like Scorton, Morecambe and Southport. There’s great links around Lancashire which makes visiting different areas very easy.

Entertainment for the whole family in spring

We know it can be hard to entertain the kids when you’re just out for a walk, so why not head to the Fylde Coast too? You’ll be met by plenty of crazy golf, arcades and rides. The best part is that it won’t cost a fortune!

We really value our location because it means there’s an abundance of activities for couples, friends and families to enjoy just a short journey away. We’re close to the bright lights of Blackpool which is the perfect destination to enjoy in the spring. It’s also home to a range of famous attractions such as the Blackpool Tower and the popular Blackpool Zoo.

Not only that but we’re also close to St Annes which has a lovely beach and a range of cafes for you to enjoy during your visit. You could even hire a beach hut for the day for ultimate relaxation.

We’re sure that you’ll want to be out and about during your visit, but maybe you’ll be tempted to stay close by the fantastic Blackpool Wake Park. This is located on our spring fed lake at the holiday park, so you really can just roll out of bed and make a day of it. There’s lots of activities to do there including access to the water park, kayaking, paddle boarding and more. Please check their website for all safety requirement information.

What do I need for a visit to England in the spring

If you’re staying with us at Ream Hills, you’ll have everything you need in your accommodation. Each option has a fully equipped kitchen area so you’re free to eat whenever you want to. Some of our options have more kitchen space than others so if you’re after more room, you might want to check out our lodges rather than our popular helicopter stay. Some of our options come with bed linen and towels, however this is not included in other options such as the Lynx Helicopter and our Glamping Pods in Lancashire. You can check out our full list of accommodation options and find the perfect option for you.

The temperature in the UK during spring is usually between 12 and 20 degrees, so you need to be well prepared for any weather conditions.

But we’d recommend packing:

  • Woolly hat,
  • A scarf,
  • A waterproof jacket (you never know when it comes to spring in England)
  • A hoodie
  • Trainers

Visiting the UK during spring time is definitely a trip not to be missed, while we can’t guarantee that the weather will be on your side, we can guarantee you a fun filled trip away from home. So grab the suitcases out of the loft and start planning your visit, we can’t wait to welcome you to our luxury holiday park. Book direct on our website.
