This incredibly unique and unforgettable experience began with a 1982 Westland Lynx XZ676 – which has been specially converted into a cosy yet comfortable and modern overnight accommodation. The Lynx belonged to the British Army and has flown in places such as Kosovo and the Gulf War, although now resides in a serene and beautiful spot at Ream Hills, in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.

Imagine the look on the little ones (or big ones!) faces when they discover where they are holidaying – they will even receive a special named certificate to cherish the experience and show their friends.

The Helicopter comfortably sleeps up to two adults and two children in a specially designed double ‘bunk’ at the rear tail, with a pull out sofa bed for the children in the main compartment. There is a small sink area with a kettle, microwave and mini fridge.

Attached to the Helicopter there is a private decking with seating to enjoy al fresco drinks and dining. Use of the nearby on-site toilet and shower block is included.

Please remember to pack any bedding including pillows, a duvet or sleeping bag, sheets and towels you may need during your stay. These are not provided in this Glamping accommodation.
